This is the first challenge for 2014, and it will be a full year. For each month you will read 1-3 books per level with covers of a certain color. The levels are easy, medium, and hard. If you are unsure if your book is a certain color, for example: you can't tell if it's blue or purple, just shoot me or Heather a message. If you participate, you will receive 1 point. If you read 1 book per month, you will receive 1 point; 2 books per month, 2 points; and 3 books per month, 3 points. You must read the same amount of books per month to receive that many points. Therefore you can have between 2 to 4 POINTS.

January: Black
February: Red
March: Blue
April: Green
May: Purple/Indigo
June: Yellow/Tan
July: Orange
August: Brown
September: Pink
October: Grey
November: White
December: Rainbow (must have at least 4 colors)

message 20: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea (chelc13) | 1467 comments Mod
Yes, unless one color is more evidently the color theme like a black cover with a small red apple like Twilight (Twilight, #1) by Stephenie Meyer does not also count as red.

Amanda (mandalynreads) Heather wrote: "I'm gunna make this call and say yes but if it has multiple colors ( 3+) ask me or Chelsea"

also what about books with multiple covers? does it not matter as long as one of them is the correct color? (also sorry for all the questions) :D

Like Heather said, everything is posted here, and I myself will be keeping track of who reads books for which months and if they read 1, 2, or 3 books depending on what level they are going for... just in case anyone forgets how many books they have read. Once people start completing books they've read, I will create a google spreadsheet for it, and post the link in the first post so everyone can view how many books they've completed! :)

I'm going to read: Kissed by an Angel (Kissed by an Angel, #1-3) by Elizabeth Chandler

And if I can, will probably read: The Power Of Love by Elizabeth Chandler and Soulmates by Elizabeth Chandler

Or I will read: Darkness Before Dawn (Darkness Before Dawn Trilogy, #1) by J.A. London and Blood-Kissed Sky (Darkness Before Dawn Trilogy, #2) by J.A. London along with After Daybreak (Darkness Before Dawn Trilogy, #3) by J.A. London

I'm still deciding lol!

message 46: by Megan (new)

Megan Guffey Would Unearthly by Cynthia Hand be considered black? Or is that more of a grey/blue? It's hard to tell.

message 47: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea (chelc13) | 1467 comments Mod
Well, I've read the book (and maybe it's just me lol), but the cover is more like a grayish-tinted purple.
