#50Booksin2014 Challenge discussion

Hi. I decided I am going to read 50 books in 2014 and I haven't decided which ones yet. Right now I am reading The Omen by David Seltzer and 1984 by George Orwell. What is everyone else reading?

I don't quite know all of the books I'd like to read but a resolution (not to buy any more books and first read those I've got at home) limits me to a certain extend. So, within my 50 books to read (finish -> *) for this year are:

- Les Misérables
- The Painted Veil *
- Divergent
- The House at Riverton
- Zoomed *
- The Handmaid's Tale *
- The Hunger Games Trilogy
- The Book Thief
- Hey Nostradamus!

As you see, I'm not yet at 50 books but I'm sure after the next trip to the book store I'll have a couple more ideas ;)

I've read a few of those and liked them all. Hunger games are really good books and so is The Handmaid's Tale. I probably have 150 books I have that I haven't read yet so i'm not putting the whole list on here lol. People give me a lot of books so I have quite a collection.

I got the same issue too, I will read all the books I have at home before buying new ones :P

Right now am reading "The rules of work" and after that am planning to read "40 rules of Love" in it's Arabic version.

Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, Evolution of Mara Dyer, Teardrop, Ignite Me, Fallen series, City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, The Infernal devices trilogy, I am number four series, Etc.

The Book Thief is more of a classic like The Diary of Anne Frank classic

I haven't decided on my list either . But I definitely intend to finish off the books that I have before running off to buy new ones .
The ones on my list definitely include

3. O Jerusalem
4. Vanity Fair
5. Les Misearables
6. The First Circle
7. The Book Thief
8. Fall of Giants
9. Winter of the World
10. A Fine Balance

Do you guys think Anna and the French Kiss is a good book?

I've never read Anna and the French Kiss.

How about Lauren Kate's Fallen series? I need some thoughts before buying them uhm
