~2014 Reading Challenge~ discussion

I pledge to read 125 new books in 2014. I'd like at least five of those to be "classics".
I'd also like to again expand my horizons with a new genre. For 2013, it was mystery/thrillers. Any suggestions? I have very eclectic tastes in reading, music, food, movies, etc.

Just an fyi, that number isn't boastful. I'm disabled and unable to work anymore, and my husband and I don't have kids, so I have plenty of time on my hands. I did more than my goal of 100 for 2013, so I'm pushing myself some this year. :)

Wow! What genre do you normally read?
