Buddy Reading Galore discussion

We'll be starting this book January fifth, 2014. If anyone else wants to join feel free ^^

Can you remind me exactly how book one ended. The had found her sister right? What else had happened? Sorry, I've read too many books since then.

XD same. Well i think they found her sister in that mutant area and they escaped. And the guy (oh god forgot his name >.<) his white wings are taken away and replaced with the bat- like black wings. I think that's all that really happened... not so sure.

Raffee? Or something like that. I think. I saw one of my other GR friends reading it and there update said something about him.

Yeah i think that's it ^^ I was gonna say Rafael, or something like that XP

It begins with an R we know that much and will find out more soon enough. So at what pace are we reading this book?

Yeah i think it's Raffe. And I should be good with anything. I remember reading Angelfall fairly quick, so if it's as good as that who knows.

For me it depends on how many hours I have at work. I'll be printing out my schedule tomorrow so I can tell you then how much free time I'll have in that say week? decide then?

It looks like I have a lot off hours that week but should still be able to read on breaks and lunch. How much a day do you think we should aim for?

Okie hmm well i haven't downloaded the book to my kindle yet >.< so i don't know exactly what the chapters are yet.

According to my Kindle 316 pages and 75 chapters.

Hmm well the chapters are probably short then so maybe like somewhere between 10-15? Or we can do more or less :)

Hmm...with work not sure. How about 50-75 pages a day, finishing whatever chapter that amount covers?

Yeah that should be good ^^

Okay! I have a long day on the 5th but will be reading this on my lunch break....

Okie just downloaded and started reading a little while ago ^^ totally beginning to remember everything that happened. I total forgot about Obi, i still have question about him though since i can't seem to remember him from the last book >.< I think i'm in the middle of chapter six though so i'll continue reading XP

Okay. Just finished Chapter 17, which is where our 75 pages takes us (well page 79 really). I'm loving it! I really want to read more tonight but will wait for tomorrow. I remembered Obi when the mentioned him but I'd forgotten about the scorpion monster, and everyone thinking she's dead at first. What do you think Raffe will do when he finds out she's alive? What do you think they're going to do to Paige? I'm already thinking this book is probably going on my favorites shelf.

Hmm well i just made it to chapter 11. That was definitely a strange scene where they pulled out all the bodies from the rubble. And i really miss Raffe < /3 i can't wait to see how the author puts them back together. I'm sure he'd be extremely surprised she's even alive, but i do wonder what his reaction will be. And wasn't Paige turned into like one of those flesh eating monsters? No idea though what's going to probably happen to her since she can't really at the food. Something that majorly confuses me is the rotting eggs, and i remember this in the last book, but was there some higher purpose to this or something?

The bodies part was definitely strange. And I miss Raffe too. Well Paige was experimented on. I think that's all they know but Prynn thinks its those monsters from before. And I think I remember something about the eggs as well but not sure what.

Made it to chapter 17. WOW. It picked up sooo much. Love in chapter fifteen when she was talking to the sword it was hilarious. Also I like the flashbacks it ready helps to understand his history and why he can't love her. I mean he seems to defend himself well enough ^^ but he'd seem like the type to worry more about Penryn´s safety. Can't wait to continue!!

Me either. And the flashbacks were awsome. I wonder if there's anything else about her that let the sword bond with her? Can't waot until her and Raffe meet up again.

I just finished chapter 36 and really want to keep reading! Will try to restrain myself until tomorrow though. How do you think they're going to get out of this? Think they'll find Paige? her mom?

You can continue. I wasn't paying attention to pages cuz my kindle was on the loc thing. 0.0 but I think I'm only on chapter 46. Or 47. I don't know. No idea though still it's like the author said an explanation then it got all confusing XD It was so horrible though when they were burying the bodies and no one was listening to Penryn ]= ALSO RAFFE :D wish she'd shown herself, but kinda glad she didn't.

Only 46 or 47? You're ahead of me then.


And the bodies part was sad. Especially when they saw the one move so Penryn knows that they were alive.


What do you think will happen with Paige if they find her? I mean she did kill that guy...I don't know what to think about her.

idk about her showing herself though. It might have distracted him more than helped.
When do you think her and Raffe will meet up again though?

Finished 54. Had a long day at work today but will definitely finish the book tomorrow. What are you thinking at this point?

Same didn't have much time to read today. I believe I'm on chapter 49. And the people on the island seem so selfish. I can understand the girl with her husband. But the captain could have done something.

Yeah. I agree he should have helped though I can't blame him for being scared. I mean in the world they live in fighting back pretty much gets you nowhere. What did you think about the scorpions?

So I finished it this morning and I really wish the next one was out...tell me when you're done because I don't want to post any spoiler things until you are.

XD glad you liked it. And um i think she's still at the party, only on chapter 52 or something. Haven't had much time to read today. So much homework and such. But i think i'll for sure finish it tomorrow ^^

Just finished it! Amazing ending! Was surprised by that whole scene when Paige tore apart Baliel. And that whole Hunan killing thing was disturbing to say the least ^^ but loved their reunion. Wonder what's going to happen next!

Yeah, the part with Paige was surprising. and the part with the humans was very disturbing. Glad I don't live in that world.... Where do you think they're going now? What do you think the doctor did do to give Paige control over those things?

Hmm no idea... There seems to be so many places they could go. One thing i was wondering was since they targeted this specific area what has happened to the rest of the world? I also loved when Clara was reunited with her family that was just great... hmm no idea. Also is this a trilogy or a series?

Seried. I thi k the author confirmed 5 books. And I never thought about the rest of the world....could they have been effected as well?
