Addicted to Tijan's books discussion

I read this one with much difficulty on Tijan's live journal and I went to re-read it only to find it unavailable. It's one of my favourite books and I was curious if anyone had heard anything about what's going on with the novel? I'd love to hear others thoughts as well about the book :)

She's planning on publishing it, as well as Home Torn. I believe, if I recall from one of her FB posts, that's is under editing. I love that story, but like you, it was difficult to read under that format on LJ.

Actually I was wondering when it would be out also so I messaged her on fb. Was told hoping for a February release. So not too long.

Do any of you who have read A Whole New Crowd know if its really only 15 chapters? I read it on live journal but after the fifteenth chapater it didn't seem like it was an actual ending.

No, it's not fifteen chapters I think it's 30 some odd chapters. I think it was left on fiction press b/c it's not edited and not the complete novel. Did you like what you read so far?

I havent read it and i have no idea what it's about! But i'm sure it must be amazeballs, therefore, cant wait for it to be released!

It's really good. AWNC and Fallen Crest High are my ties for favourite book. I don't know how to describe it, my descriptions start and with "well this girl.."

I love this story!!!
A Whole New Crowd is basically about a chick named Taryn who is a con and thief, who was forced to start a new life at a new school leaving her old life, her town, and old bf (and bf brother) behind. AWNC is not sweet, there are mysteries, murders, deceit, drugs, etc. And like all other Tijan teenagers there is absolutely no parental involvement.

There is a second book of the series, Sentiment Lost, and its about Jace. The entire story is still posted on FP. This story is great, but very different, very gritty and a bit confusing at first.

I haven't read sentiment lost, can't decide if I should or not.

It's good, just very different. It basically is the continued story of the underground ring from AWNC. For easier reading, I'd reformat the story to epub or kindle. Much easier that way....

I really did like what I've read so far. I hope to read the rest soon. So far AWNC and Fallen Crest series are my favorites of hers!

I've not read AWNC yet. Or at least not the whole book. I've read the 15 chapters but that's all I could find and let me tell you I really hope February because I hate waiting.
