Kate Foley (themagicviolinist) Hunger Games (no brainer), but also the Darkness Rising series by Kelley Armstrong. :) A little more paranormal than dystopian, but lots of action, romance, plot twists, and an unexpected ending!!! ;)

E (e_e_) I'm looking for recommendations... fantasy, but not high fantasy. So urban fantasy? Nothing medieval like Lord of the Rings.
Because I really enjoyed The Raven Cycle and I want more books like that. Modern-day, but magic and all that jazz.

Kate Foley (themagicviolinist) CITY OF BONES is a good book. :) I'm reading the second book in the series right now (CITY OF ASHES). It's by Cassandra Clare. PLUS it's a movie, so you can compare the two! :)
