Significance by Shelly Crane

Maggie is a seventeen year old girl who's had a bad year. She was smart and on track, but then her mom left, her dad is depressed, she's graduating - barely - and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football scholarship. Lately she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has.

Then she saves the life of Caleb and instantly knows there's something about him that's intriguing. But things change when they touch, sparks ignite. Literally.

They imprint with each other and she sees their future life together flash before her eyes. She learns that not only is she his soul mate, and can feel his heartbeat in her chest, but there is a whole other world of people with gifts and abilities that she never knew existed. She herself is experiencing supernatural changes unlike anything she's ever felt before and she needs the touch of his skin to survive.
Now, not only has her dad come out of his depression to be a father again, and a pain as well, but Caleb's enemies know he's imprinted and are after Maggie to stop them both from gaining their abilities and take her from him.

Can Caleb save her or will they be forced to live without each other after just finding one another?

Yeah, I have a ton too. I know I need to read some, but I have a bunch of books from the library I need to read.

Yeah, my problem is I work at a library so I turn stuff in just to find other things I wanna read while I am working.

@Rachel it comes out November 18 for the U.S. I don't know when it will come out for other country's but I hope you love this book it was so amazing. It surprise me. I spent all night reading it. If you want I will be able to finish the series off with you.

I've started it a couple hours earlier!

I already sneaked in some chapters as well today! At chapter 3 now. I liked the beginning and I can tell you guys, we don't have to wait very long for the romance to kick in. Just hope it has more to offer than that, but I'm hopeful :)

I'm not really enjoying this book... I'll finish it, but at this point, I wouldn't continue the series.

Everything just seems too easy, too convenient...

Huh I loved this book. I mean yeah it seems like that. I love it can't wait for the movie to come out.

I'm 25% in now. I enjoy it in a way but not sure how I really feel about it. In the beginning I was a bit annoyed by how easy it all seemed, just like you said Tatiana. Writing style isn't all that special as well. Up until now it has been mostly a romance-type of story. Hoping some action will kick in soon!

I finished it, and I really didn't like it... I'm not going to read the next book.

I'm at chapter 13 now, 34% read. (view spoiler)[ Still not blown away by it.. It's all romancy stuff and the story overall doesn't really interest me. It's just flat and I'm missing some kind of depth, even in the writing. I do want to finish it though. I don't like to give up on books, especially not these easy reads. (hide spoiler)]

I know right! I don't really get why it's rated so high. I'm planning on finishing it tonight/tomorrow. Will let you know what I think about it!

Chapter 10: (view spoiler)[ I'm liking it so far. I've read other books with soul mates and the whole thing seemed really cheesy and irritating but I'm finding this one not as bad. It's still sort of cheesy/weird but I'm getting used to it. I've been in the mood for romance novels lately but if I wasn't I'm not sure if I'd like it as much. I wish her dad wasn't so rude about her having a boyfriend... I mean, she has a full time job and graduated a year early, why wouldn't she be able to take care of herself? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 18: (view spoiler)[ I'm interested in the story but I'm finding the writing not very good. I also find the dialogue really unnatural, which is an issue I find with a lot of books. The whole thing with Kyle is making me a bit upset, he's acting like because he loved her first he has rights to her as if she's something to claim. I really like Caleb's family. Apparently they're making this into a tv-movie type thing? I saw it on IMDB set for 2016. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 27: (view spoiler)[ I'm happy that they finally told her father, all the lying was making me uncomfortable. The more I read the stiffer I'm finding the writing, if that word makes sense. When people are explaining things it feels a bit like an instruction manual to me. I think I'll end up rating it 3 stars but there's no way to know until I'm done. Most likely around 3 stars, though.
