DNF = did not finish
FSOG = Fifty Shades of Grey"
Thank you! I do agree with what you wrote. The end deffo made up for the rest of the book and because it's a trilogy I will read the others :)

i also really loved the quotes on each chapter and found my self tryin to picture what to expect while reading
i think althea rowming did a great job with the trilogy in general this has become one of my fav books ever

Nicole, you should definately stay until the end. It's what made the book so popular in the first place.

It's really hard to read. I have never read such a dark book.

I just really despised it but also really wished i loved it

I loved the dark duet series! Have you found any others like it?

Rocco here are couple that I liked

Nicole, I just started it and i am going to continue. Perhaps we can post our thoughts when we are done.

I think that is a great idea.

What group is that? Im a series nut...granted it generally has to have some romance.

Yea, Tony needs help but so far he has not outraged me as much as he has some other people….final verdict pending. I am only up to page 135 so I really shouldn't be discussing this yet, but the book is soooo exciting and different and sick.

Brandy, I think your answer is for Nicole, she asked "What group is this?"

Paganalexandria **wicked juices bubbling over** wrote: "Nicole wrote: "Question is, should I continue to read the book and see what happens...or should I turn and run away?"

I really don’t understand what the writer wants to say. Tony planned so many years for his revenge plan, to hurt those who hurt his family. His grandfather was caught by FBI agent because using the faking documents. This is the real crime!! He holds Claire as a prisoner, he abuses her on every way he can and put Claire in jail finally. But Claire does love him. I can understand how stupid of women when they fall in love, I don’t understand is that worth?? To have the daughter with the guy who hurt you in deep??
Sorry about that, maybe I am not American, I don’t understand the culture of yours, to be honest, I really don’t think the series is as good as the other said.

But I do think you have to be in the right mind set for reading this series. It is filled with so many twists and turns and I yet to read Tony's POV because I am not sure I can handle it right now.

omg :( wow... to tell a 10-year old child you are on "Team Rapist and Abuser" ... poor kid ...
But yeah, the fact that you probably told her it would not be ok for her to date someone like this, makes this whole thing ok...
what has our society come to?!

That is why this series was so great... because Tony was a monster but by the end the author was able to turn it around so that you felt for him.
But this is only fiction and I don't think this book reflects on society nor does Aleatha Romig go around condoning rape.
