Clean Romances discussion

Hi everyone! I'll admit I've been lurking because I'm a little shy, but I love what this group is about. I'm a new author, Rula Sinara, and I just had a debut release, The Promise of Rain, on New Year's Day (and yes, it did rain at my place on the 1st LOL). It's a Harlequin Heartwarming, so it's clean without the inspirational element.

I won't say more on that, though, because I really just wanted to introduce myself and, if anyone is interested, invite you over to a related discussion on how some underestimate the capacity for love in other species...over at the Harlequin Heartwarming group https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/.... Yes, I love animals :) and my story involves a orphaned baby elephant rescue in Africa.

I am new myself. I am an animal lover. People do underestimate an animals capacity to love. I have adopted five feral cats over the last four years. Sadly we now have only three. Cats are not known for being over affectionate, but I have been shown much love and affection from my cats.

I so agree about an animal's capacity to love. If people just took a moment to observe them, they'd witness it.

That's so wonderful that you've taken feral cats in...and sorry for the loss. We have one feral cat, in addition to our two house cats. I built her a winter shelter this year and she loved it. As for cats being affectionate, I agree with you! Mine are so lovey dovey ;).
