As my first book of 2014 I wasn't disappointed Rick Riordan gave me the answers I wanted while still allowing the adventure to continue in the final book.

I have read this book multiple time but always love to reread it, the story of understanding and becoming comfortable within yourself is something everyone needs to learn and is shown in Fires' story.

Ivy is another book I have read in the past month, based in Victorian London Ivy comes to understand how her past has shaped her and what she truly wants to do with her future.

It took me a while to get to this book and I wasn't disappointed Durst brought Princeton University alive and created a relate-able heroine in Lily Carter who is ready to take on anything Princeton can trow at her.

I loved this book it gives a new take on a well knowen tale, finding out more about Ophelia and what happened and how Hamlets revenge changed those he loved.

First Grave on The Right is an amazing start to a brilliant series with a fantastic main character who keeps you on your toes and has sass to spare

Second Grave on The Left, Charley is back with more attitude, following the first book Darynda Jones brings all her characters to life while keeping everyone grounded and human, much like the first book, despite Charleys' strange job title.
