Does it matter if I use the same series as last year, just a new volume? Is anything fine, so long as the title is from each letter of the alphabet? :)

Yep - anything in comic book / manga format you read in 2014 is cool. :)

So new volumes of the same series from last year are totally fine (technically even the same volumes work if you want to reread them). And interpretation of titles is pretty flexible - X-Men: Days of Future Past for example could be used for X or D.

I did it this year too!

Had a difficult time finding a comic/graphic novel for Q. Decided to go for Queen and Country, Vol. 1: Broken Ground and placed a reservation on my library, but someone never returned the book to the library, so I never got to lend it. Had to "run" to my local comic book shop December 27th and just buy whatever I could find for the letter Q. Ended up with a sucky Grimm Fairy Tales sidestory... At least it completed the challenge!

And I never thought I'd enjoy an X-men graphic novel, but I decided to read one for X, and I loved it! :D

Congrats! I got stuck on Q and Z again. Will have to keep Queen and Country in mind next time.

Glad you enjoyed the X-Men comic. They vary greatly in quality but there is some really fantastic stuff among it all.
