Kim (kadykayf) Does anyone make reading goals for the year? If yes, what are your goals for 2014?

Tammy ~Witching Hour Reads~ (03tammy-lynn) | 16 comments I do, my goal is about 60 books. Do you? What are your goals?

*Layali* (layalireads) | 95 comments I'm hoping to read 50 books this year. I'm going for quality over quantity. :) I'm also hoping to read a few more classics and adult novels than I normally do.

Sabrina (forebodinq) | 31 comments I'm aiming for 35 books this year. It's my final year of high school, so I know I'm going to be short on time and energy.

Hannah (hannahsmanyhobbies) I am going for 150, since I made 120 last year. It's a stretch but I'm book obsessed.

Laura (lolzloz) | 1 comments The past couple of years I have let books accumulate and haven't read them or only gotten half way through them. This year my aim is to read 30 books minimum and to finish every book I start. I'll be flat out with uni but plan to read even a little bit, even if it's just once a week.

Kayla (kaylawrites89) | 43 comments My goal is to try and make a dent in my Amazon books! Having 1600 books and only reading a couple a year while continuing to buy more books makes things a bit more daunting.

Mary (knoxdiver) Overall, I'm going with 150, which I surpassed in 2012 and 2013, and I'm taking part in 9 different year-long challenges, from physical books to digital review books, from standalones to series, and even a TBR-minimizing challenge, I've got just about every kind of book covered.

My goals are pretty much exactly like Jennika's. I read 158 books last year and I felt like I was pushing myself too much to hit my 150 goal (up from 120 from 2012). This year, I plan to only read 50 books and focus a lot more on adult books, classics and graphic novels. I'm setting low goals to hope to bring back the fun of reading. I think I got caught up too much in achieving.
