Love, Love, Loved this book. Purposefully dragged out reading it to enjoy it longer :)

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 2 - Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Freefall
It's been a long while since I watched Buffy. Might need to go back for a refresher...
As always, gotta love Joss Whedon.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 3 - Zits en Concert: A Zits® Treasury

Thanks, Jess! I was considering re-watching since my hubby hasn't seen most of it.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 4 - MWF Seeking BFF: My Yearlong Search For A New Best Friend

Although there is a lot of statistics and filler crap, I like the book overall. As someone who has moved across the country a few times, it can be reallllllly difficult to make new friends. I think that I should do something like this, I seriously need some face to face girl time.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 8 - Strange Brew

Average murder-mystery. Great narrator for the audiobook!

I'm sad that I've read all the Cat Who books by Lilian Jackson Braun. They were wonderful fluffy mysteries, great audiobooks. I really need something to fill that gap.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 9 - Catalog Living at Its Most Absurd: Decorating Takes (Wicker) Balls

A few LOL moments. Now every time I look at a catalog I'll be looking for goofy shit that doesn't make sense.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 11 - Pacific Rim: Tales From Year Zero

I really enjoyed this! Hoping for more

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 14 - Eat, Pray, Love

4 Years later, and I still love this book. Now the question is: Should I re-watch the movie?

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 15 - The Weird Sisters

I like the writing style... slightly reminiscent of Alice Hoffman. However, I kept waiting for something, anything, to happen.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 25 - Mad About the Boy

I liked this one, possibly more than the first two. I still find it weird that there was such a gap in time between this and the previous book.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 26 - One for the Money

message 29: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 28 - The Walking Dead, Vol. 08: Made to Suffer

Oops, accidentally skipped 7... gotta put that on hold at the library.
This one was brutal.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 30 - Blackberry Pie Murder

This one was pretty terrible.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 31 - Triton

Couldn't put this book down. It has it's flaws, but damn - it is captivating. I'm still deciding how I feel about the ending though. Not at all what I expected.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 32 - Three to Get Deadly

Very meh. Hoping the next one is better.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 35 - The Undead Pool

Ugh.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 37 - The Vanishing

The first third was creepy and promising. But the rest was SO disappointing! I was hoping for a curveball and some action. But all I got was a whiny main character that cried in the shoulder of any man she could find. Ugh, I hated the ending.
I hate when authors ruin a good idea.

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 38 - The Lost Art of Mixing

I love the way this author writes. This wasn't *as* good as The School of Essential Ingredients... But it was good. These books make me want to get rid of everything I own and relocate to the pacific northwest.

message 40: by Jessica (new)

Jessica (jestown) | 154 comments Book 39 - Dracula
This book was like foreplay with a new lover. Taking hours of build up, exploration, hints and flirting, and finally get down to it and it's like a bottle rocket - light, whiz, pop all in 3 seconds.

Terrible end. So disappointed.
