City of Books discussion

Here you can talk to members and start buddy reads with them! If you do find someone to buddy read with, create a discussion in the BUDDY READ folder.
Title the discussion based on the book your reading and your names.

Ex. If you're going to read Divergent and your names are Sam and Sarah, then you'd title the discussion Divergent Sam + Sarah

I'd to read It, Insomnia and Firestarter all by Stephen King, if anyone is interested.

I also have a bunch of YA that needs to be read, so if anyone is interested I'll post a list of those books and we can discuss/message about buddy reading them. :)

I'd be interested in reading Insomnia with you! Or you can post the list of YA books you have cause I have quite a few too :)

@Charlotte @Lauren I'd like to read Insomnia as well, and It :) I've been wanting to read those for a while

I'm up for reading either of those, I have both of them on my tbr :)

These are the books I have on my desk waiting to be read! :D If anybody plans to read them too, I can be your buddy. Or if I can borrow some books that you are also planning to read, I'll join you :)

Grace and Lauren: that's great! I don't really mind when we start Insomnia, as long as it's after next week because I have exams. Feel free to message me or something if you have a specific date in mind!

There are a bunch more that I need to get round too, but these are the ones I think I need a buddy to get through.

(I also need to read The Two Towers and. The Return of the King, but I really really need a buddy for those because Fellowship was so hard to get through)

@Kate I read The Graveyard Book an insanely long time ago but I remember it was really good!

Grace: I'm borrowing Throne of Glass from my library, so we could also buddy read that, if you wanted?

@Charlotte Yeah that'd be great! When would you want to start it?

Grace: I really don't mind! I'm pretty much free to start it any day (except from next Wednesday because that's when my exams are), so whenever works for you. :) it depends if you want to read it while you're reading other books as well. We could wait until we've finished what we're currently reading to start?

Grace and Charlotte: I'm free to read Insomnia anytime after this week if you still want to!

Samyam: wait, which book did you want to read? Lauren, Grace and I will possibly be reading Insomnia next Thursday or Friday. But Grace and I will also be reading Throne of Glass at some point as well.

Kate: awesome, the more the merrier, haha :') How long do you get to keep books from your library? I'm sure we'll get it read before you have to take it back or anything, but just to be sure.

Charlotte: I can keep them till 3weeks, but you can also renew them so there's no problem :)

Kate: that's the same as my library :') But that shouldn't be a problem at all! I'm pretty sure all of us can start at some point next week or after that, but I think we need to check to be extra sure.

@Lauren: I can read Eleanor & Park with you starting tomorrow. Let me know how you want it to be structured! ;)

The books below are the ones I've been meaning to read for a while, but then got distracted by other books. :P Anybody up for one?

I'm looking for someone to read The Casual Vacancy with me starting this weekend if anyone's up for it? I've had this book since the day it came out and I read about 100 pages and gave up. I was in a reading slump at the time but I think I'll definitely like it more this time and it seems like a book that would be great to discuss with someone!

Is anyone interested in reading Divergent? I know, I'm behind but I really want to start and finish the trilogy before the movie comes out in March! I would like to start as soon as possible! Please let me know if so! :)

I reaaaaaaly want to read the following books:

* The Selection - Kiera Cass
* Divergent - Veronica Roth (this is my first choice because the movie comes out really soon here in Holland)
* The Luxe - Anna Godbersen
* Hush, Hush - Becca Fitzpatrick (Grace and I are planning to buddy-read this book. Does someone wants to join us??)
* Angelfall - Susan Ee

I'm trying to finish my current book (Unearthly) tonight. It is currently 9 p.m here in Holland so I think I will need another 2,5 hours. I have another Buddy read with Grace (hush, hush). It would be really nice to read these books with you guys. And I think is the best option to read as much as I can from all the 3 books. Is that okay with you??

I have 95 pages left (Unearthly), so hopefully I'll finish it tonight and if not I'll finish it tomorrow. I promise I will start all these three books tomorrow!
