I saw the trailer and didn't even know it was the trailer. So I'm worried it's going to be WAY different than the book : (

Me too. The book vibe seems to be entirely different than the movie vibe. But I would still like to watch it in theaters. :D

There is the side that finds it to be too chilled out and almost satirical then the others that find the chilled out aspect of the movie to reflect the book well.

In my opinion, the book was a little bit more serious about this so I'm excited to see it but I'm not expecting anything amazing x(

I'm excited too! The director is the same guy who directed Mean Girls, so I'm not expecting it to be all that serious.

very good! The things that were different made sense. Like they had to explain stuff that the book did but they did it in a different way.

I disnt like the cazt choice and its hard to feelnthe connection between the some caracthers but at the same time they explain the situation very well and there are some Ctions asnsell. To me it seemed prettu close yo the books. Rose waz the best one...dimitry too old...I dindt like mia but nathaly is great. They could chose. Better lisa and cristian as well, but even like that I liked the movie.

I loved this movie!! It was sort of like the book and in someways not so much but if was still awesome!

I so this movie Friday night... and I loved it! Not as much as the book, of course, but still... wow. I thought the movie was going to be awful because the trailer was) but it totally wasn't! I loved most of cast - Christian (he was British!), Rose, Natalie (she was super funny), Mia, Mason, Victor... they were all great. I didn't like Dimitri (he seemed king of creepy) or Lissa (I don't know - her voice was kind of annoying). And the movie actually followed the book!! The plot was the same... nothing important was cut out and everything was explained (unlike the City of Bones movie). Anyway, this movie was great!

I cant wait to finally get to see this movie. I'm glad fans seem to be liking it, even though I don't think the box office numbers were very good at all.

It's sad that we probably won't get any more movies for this series, but I think with all these failed YA adaptations I'm just learning to be grateful when we get a movie at all.

I think the rose and Lisa lines were fantastic but Kirova's is crappy. I don't like how Dimitri speaks so softly freaks me out. But hey I love the movie but it is my least favorite out of the books. Mia annoys me so much.

The movie suck major monkey butt. They so did not get it right. It felt really rushed. The guy that played Dimitri was a really horrible choice.

The movie was pretty enjoyable in itself (if you ignore the cheesy CGI and even cheesier world-building), but definitely didn't live up to the book. The cast was meh. They did a pretty good job, but didn't fully show their character they way Mead did in the book.
Nevertheless, I really hope Frostbite will happen! I'm looking forward to seeing Adrian, haha.

I loved the Movie, only thing I missed and would have changed was the lenght. it could have benefitted from being longer, other than that I love it.
I`m still hoping for a frostbite Movie.
