I agree with Eragon. Inkheart, I only saw the movie. Haven't read the book. I haven't seen the Thief Lord or the Seeker.

The Da Vinci Code was horrible. I enjoyed the book.

The Twilight movies sucked..but I thought looks wise, they chose people who looked close to what described in the book.

Lindsay (ohnobarefeet) | 10 comments I never even read Twilight, just because of the movies. They werent bad as far as chick flicks went, but i felt like since i had seen the movies already, it would ruin how the book played in my minds eye.

Maryanne | 131 comments That is true, because I read every single book and I watched the movies. I used to love them, but now I don't really care... Kristen Stewart isn't that good of an actress.

Lauren (originally_elle) | 19 comments I was never a fan of the Twilight books (vampires DONT sparkle!!!) & the movie kind of solidified my hate. The movies were really bad!!

Percy Jackson was a pretty big disappointment too, as well as the The Lovely Bones (I think that was my biggest disappointment!)

Mine:

Inkheart
The Thief Lord
The Seeker
Eragon
And more I'm forgetting..."

And I agree with your picks too Layla, especially the Seeker & Eragon. I liked the movie Inkheart but Ive never read the book so I cant compare the 2

J | 28 comments Eregon was a huge disappointment. I think the adaptations biggest fault was simplifying the story line til it made it childish.

Ella Enchanted and Beastly we're also really bad...

Well in all honesty most of the Nicholas sparks novels that have been movies are horrible with the exception of The Note Book, Walk to Remember, message in a bottle and the last song. safe haven wasn't bad but after the notebook they try to capture the magic that that film created and it's not possible dear John was terrible I mean down right awful. it was like they just filmed it in a day patching things together. The lucky one was just as bad.

Worst. Movie. Ever.

Zoe (blueshadow130) The City of Ember. It was such a low budget movie that they skipped out on quality actors and the storyline that I loved in the book just wasn't there. I was so disappointed because I loved the book and went to see it in theaters only to learn I had ultimately wasted my money.
