So first 5 Chapters are down next 5 will start who do we like/dislike and opinion about Cody/Mama/Zayvion/Allie?

Allie
The girl in the picture in chapter 2 is Allie but are they going to frame her for killing her dad(who I assume is the older man in the picture) or someone else? So far I really like her character and the idea of a "Hound" they sniff out magic abuse and aparently have an insanily strong sense of smell(or is that just her) Who else was shocked by that kiss in Chapter 3??

Cody
I keep thinking of Cody as a kid even though he's an adult from the discriptions. Is he kid-like because of his magic use because he used to be an "artist" with magic prior to becoming a...forger of magic signitures, so he should know how to do dispersments with his magic. ALSO is Cody dead because with him reaching for the magic in chapter 5 I don't know if he was doing one final piece of art or if he's gone for good. Sharon pointed out that he gets put in a box and that could be a coffin, but I'm wondering if it's like before with his blood and putting it in the magic box in chapter 2.

Mama
Is Mama trying to distance herself from the boys(and men)by just calling them all Boy because of death rate in that part of town or some other reason? I can't tell what's up with her if she's really just a nieve nice old lady or if she is hiding something?

Zayvion
Is he black?? It sound like he is in the discription but it's so vague that I can't tell if he is or not and trying to get an image of him isn't working. I think I like him and he seems like a good guy but I'm wondering if there is something more to him. Mama said "your kind" in reference to him if he is black is she talking about race or is she talking about something more like I don't know a different race or something?

On another note who thinks Allie will never end up going to Nola's house or it wont happen till the end of the book? These are some things that Sharon and I talked about after the first few Chapters please leave your comments about the chapters and any questions;p

OKAY!
So I really like this story alot. Especially how it starts out, the suspense, intrigue, and plot come together nicely, and really draw me in. Though this is the first in the series, I feel it is a fantastic start, and it is paced very well.

Allie:
I like her character, she does what she feels is right. Even if it means leaving her father and his fortune for it. Though if she could just keep said fortune, and do something productive with it instead of being estranged from her father, I think she would have helped many more people but whatevs.

Cody:
He's totally one of my favorite characters, though his back-story is vague, I really like how you can really feel his pain. Though his adult/child mentality, dual personality thing is pretty confusing. i like that he does what he feels is right, and that he does what is needed to save what he loves.

Mama:
I think she's pretty kick-ass,but I agree that she is distancing herself from the boys by calling them "Boy", as it is more of a thing than a person.

Zayvion:
I have to agree in that at first I was very confused with what he looked like, he was the only one I had problems trying to figure out. Not really sure if I like him or not, but we'll see.

all I know is cody is a sweetie but he is getting pulled into bad things because of snake man.... snake man. I wonder if he might be a demon.
