Stepahnie Plum- Brittany Murphy?

I don't know about the actress but I would love to see a Stephanie Plum movie! Brittany is hilarious and how I sort of picture Stephanie in my head. Wanda Sykes or Queen Latifiah for Lula?

I could see Selma Blair as stephanie too. WHat about Grandma -- since Estelle Getty died it is harder to imagine - Maybe Linda Hunt?

Jensen Ackles from supernatural would make a REALLY hot Dimitri!!!!

LOL I think he is the sexiest actor EVER! He is soooooo hot on Supernatural!

I thought he was gorgeous when I first saw him on Dark Angel. I don't know why he didn't get any more roles until now.

My all-time favorite character is Anthony Malory. I have no idea who would portray him perfectly. :(

I would like to see kevin Spacey play Burke from the Andrew Vachss novels. I would like to see Kevin Spacey play darn near anything, actually.

I was going to say Robert Downey, Jr., but then the movies would have become parodies of action flicks, which would do the series a disservice.

Katherine Heigle is playing Stephanie Plum in an upcoming movie called One for the Money. I've only read one of these books, but I don't see it. Maybe I should read more before forming an opinion.

Katherine Hedge should stop acting. I think she's terrible. And after recently seeing Water for Elephants I hate to see another bad actor ruin a good book.

Carmilla would be my favorite vampire. But I don't know any young actress who could play her. She would have to be about 21 with thick wavey brunette hair.

I always thought Harrison Ford shoulda played Batman a loooong time ago, but that role was taken by Michael Keaton, and he actually surprised me with the way his performance match the character. Batman lived in darkness, yet he still strived to do what was right. I still feel Harrison shoulda done it cos he has the chin and the humor and he'd've filled out the cape and cowl real well. What do you think?

I'm going to respectfully disagree with you, Edward. I don't think that Harrison Ford would have played the character with sufficient darkness. As it happens, I also think that Val Kilmer and George Clooney were miscast as Batman. I don't think that Michael Keaton ever got enough credit for his abilities as an actor ... and besides, he was seriously upstaged by Jack Nicholson. Who wouldn't be?!

Of course Jack Nicholson had to steal Michael Keaton's thunder. Happened the last time Batman was upstaged by The Joker a few years back with the Dark Knight. Thanks, tho', for your humble opinion. Maybe H'Wood did right by not puttin' Harrison in the Bat Costume after all.

True. I saw a clip once wherein Tom tried out for Indy and boy am I glad he wasn't Indy!!! He was arrogant and angry as all get-out! He didn't have the humility that makes for a good hero on film. So on THAT note I'm equally glad Harrison wouldn't've made a good Magnum PI either so it worked out all right.

Jensen Ackles as anything...he is so, so cute!!

For The Hunger Games I don't think Josh Hutcherson fit the picture of Peeta but I can't see anyone else playing him! Oh why can't the picture you get in your brain just come to life?
