Throughout the Sword of Truth series, one can clearly see that Goodkind draws many ideas from real life events and actually gives a convincing opinion about them. At the top of my mind now, I can think of the old world being a symbol of communism and Anderith representing the struggle between Israel and Palestine. What do you think?

I'd agree with that entirely, Charbel; I had the same thoughts myself at the time of reading.
