Red (littleredreader) It's not YA, but I have to say The Silver Linings Playbook. I often love books for their entertainment value or their literary merit, but this book is the first one to really hit me at my heart, make me think, and really make me reevaluate myself, my life, and my way of thinking. I wrote a full review, but this book was absolutely beautiful. The characters, the story, all beautiful, while being entertaining, but also raw and honest.

Life-changing books? Hm, okay.

1. Wuthering Heights because it taught me a whole new perception of love and how destructive it can be. I can't really put my thoughts into coherent sentences but it has truly changed me.
2. The Fault in Our Stars because I really empathized with the main characters and what they were going through. Now I feel as though I'm more grateful for being alive and healthy because of this book.
3. The Mortal Instruments series too, I guess. These books are the ones that originally got me into reading. I guess that’s life-changing. xD
