I think i'm going to set my goal for this RAT at 1000 pgs, with this weekend being a long weekend, and still being limited on what I can do workout wise, I think its doable...I'll post my books in a little while (when I figure them out)

I am a mood reader so I can't quite stick to a list of books to read. I would love to clear out my currently reading list but I cant find one of the books! Argh.

I have a long list of books that need to be reviewed so I am going to tackle that.

Anne | 274 comments I would like to finish at least 3 books, and I plan to continue reading Les Miserables and David Copperfield. I also will be starting The Once and Future King since it is group read that I already committed to taking part in but haven't started yet. I also have a large pile of library books waiting to be read. Thus, I will probably jump around from book to book quite a lot. Below is a list of books I plan to read at least portions of during the readathon, although my final list may look quite a bit different.

In progress before readathon:
1.Les Misérables
2.David Copperfield
3.Paladin of Souls
4.The Stepsister Scheme
5.Daughter of the Empire

Begun during readathon:
1.The Once and Future King
2.The World Until Yesterday: What Can We Learn from Traditional Societies?
3.Guilt
4.The Casual Vacancy

Anne | 274 comments Reading Les Miserables has really made me wish I knew more than 15 words of French. The translator seems to have misunderstood the reason for translations. If I knew any French, I would be reading it in that language in the first place. Leaving whole passages in French is not helpful.

1.Les Misérables- 40 pages
2.David Copperfield- listened 3.5 hours, 80 pages
3.Paladin of Souls
4.The Stepsister Scheme- 263 pages, completed
