i just read a teaser that was released a few days ago (view spoiler)[ it's a scene where Juliette reunites with Adam and Kenji and her Omega Point people (hide spoiler)] I was disappointed. I want Warner!!

I have! It was so good.. as is everything Tahereh puts out.. I can't wait for Ignite Me.. I think Warner's Mom is gonna play a big part in this book

BTW I'm in on this Buddy Read.. feel like I've been waiting my whole life for this book hehe

Ok, I'm officially really excited. I might have to stay up really late on Monday, so I can buy it my copy at midnight ..lol!

I preordered my copy at Bookdepo but they haven't shipped yet and it will take probably a week to reach me after they do dispatch it :< I thought they sent books in the mail before release date so people could receive it close to release date because that was the case before :"(

I read the first 15 chapters on the internet yesterday so spoilers up to there (view spoiler)[ I feel like Warner is gonna be the main character in Ignite Me and I am totally not complaining... the chemistry between Juliette and Warner is too much to handle (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 23!! (view spoiler)[ This is a scene that has NEEDED to happen for so long! Everything is being put out in the open and people are MAD they are CONFUSED they are SHOCKED and it is PERFECT.. Adam is so mad mad doesn't even begin to describe it and he should be! And he'll get over it but he should be this angry and I'm so glad this is so real (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 26 (view spoiler)[ KENJI & Juliette's relationship is my favorite thing ever... They are so adorable and I'm so glad Castle is back and still glad that Adam is as mad as he is... It still feels real to me.. like if this went down in real life the adam in the situation SHOULD be this mad.. i love it, i just love TM's work (hide spoiler)]

I think I just broke up with this series. I'm not going to read it anymore. *cries in the corner*

Just finished Chapter 29 and OMG

(view spoiler)[ Everything about this chapter was perfect.. I'm so glad Kenji and the gang got to see Warner and how intense his feelings for Juliette are. I also COMPLETELY melted when Juliette finally called him Aaron and told him all the things we've been begging for her to tell him... They are perfect, he is perfect. THIS is perfect (hide spoiler)]

When i was 20% i was pretty shocked. i think anyone who didn't read is going to be shocked by Warners apparent turn around.

I'm still kind of reeling over all the things that Adam said! I understand how they fell into love so quickly and that they really don't understand each other well. I just don't remember her wanting to fight and chage things when she escaped Warners compound in book one. i thought what Adam though…that she just wanted to be with him. (hide spoiler)]

I agree... but I've read Destroy Me so I already knew some of that stuff and it was such a relief that he was finally telling her

Everyone has changed so much from Shatter me to Ignite Me.. It's amazing

Chatper 60 I mean damn... I'm speechless... this book is going exactly how I hoped it'd go but SO much better

I just finished and that ending was unrealistic and totally abrupt!

I kind of agree with you about him always saying dear. i'm ok with him saying "love," though.

Did you read or ? I feel like without reading the novellas, Adam and Warner will seem like they're completely different people in this one.

@greta I read both novellas and can't help but feel they spoil the surprise about (view spoiler)[Warner 's different behaviour and Adam surviving the bomb (hide spoiler)]? Sorry I actually meant 'love'. It annoys me somehow cause he uses it way to often like he has to remind her to calm down!

Since so many of you guys have started, I'm gonna start a little early too :)

Up to chapter 15: (view spoiler)[ I don't know how I feel so far about everything. It just feels very rushed and unrealistic that Juliette would be okay with being under Warner's watch basically 24/7 now. I don't know. I just don't trust Warner yet and I have a hard time excusing his horrid behavior earlier in the series. I'm interested to see what happens next. Also I'm really glad Kenji is still alive. I have a feeling that means Adam is too (hide spoiler)]

i think them drifting apart makes sense. She was so desperate and sort of out of her mind when she met him.

More stuff that didn't make sense or I felt I got an incomplete explanation about :

even though I do love Warner, whereas everything else was pretty much explained away, there was no justification given for why he almost murdered Adam. He really can be a cold blooded killer. At least he didn't do it. (hide spoiler)]

Yah I totally understand why she is connecting with Warner more than she ever did with Adam.. Kenji is right, Adam was kinda her only option for most of the time.. No one wants to be with someone because they are the only option.. Warner brings out the best in her, makes her strong, makes her brave, makes her larger than life

I want more explanation about the bird too!! I thought it was kinda a cop out the way she said Adam was the link, and his tattoo brought her to Warner... I wish there was something deeper.

Totally agree! Especially since in the previous book didn't she explain seeing the bird as meaning he would allow her to fly? Something along those lines.

I am happy with the outcome but just a bit peeved about the execution. Still, great series!!!

But now thinking about it, wouldn't the people have been reluctant to accept him since he's the son of Anderson and all...even if he did confess his rebellion against his father he could look suspicious. J's changed and grown so much she could totally lead (with the Omega Point people behind the scenes ofc).

@Greta You're so right about the speaker thing being unrealistic... Never thought about that. But the end is open ended so it doesn't necessarily mean the fighting has stopped in other parts, maybe? (hide spoiler)]

I'm about halfway through and I still don't know how I feel about everything that's been going on...
