Take a deep breath, Layla. Command and copy your scene. Paste it a bunch of times, and delete it a bunch of times. Then, when you have calmed down, paste the scene back into your story. Hopefully, this will work.

Kate Foley (themagicviolinist) You need closure. :) Make sure your character has a great final scene before he/she dies. Cling to your other characters for support! Use your grief and translate that into your characters' grief.

I write lots of fantasy/dystopian stories involving wars, and believe me, I know how this feels. :P I cried when I killed my MC's cat in my YA contemporary. I cry when my MC cries. It's normal for authors to feel like this. ;)
