Reading YA, Writing YA, and Being Totally Awesome discussion

Funny you made this thread tonight, because after like 2 or 3 years, I randomly picked up pottermore again tonight.

It's sort of an interactive telling of the story. You go through each chapter and scene, you have to find items and ingredients, sometimes there are mini-games, you have to cast spells, brew potions, meanwhile you read excerpts and as you go through, you can unlock behind the scenes information. You get sorted into a house after a quiz. I don't really know how to describe it. I would just recommend going to the website, signing up, and just get started. For something rather simple, it's pretty damn addictive. THey don't have all the books released yet, when I first signed up back when it was launched, I was really into it. Then I stopped playing because they took a while to release the next book. They have the first four I think now (although it is slightly time consuming just getting through one book of pottermore). I randomly saw an email from it tonight, and I was bored and decided to try it again. Did it for the past two hours, totally forgetting how addictive it was. XD

I don't know... I really, really liked the books and was hoping for more from the movies. I mean, they left out Peeves! He was the best!
I suppose the first three were pretty good, but then the actor who played Dumbledore died and the replacement guy just wasn't as good.
