Debra Hale-Shelton (debbye) Haven't read them yet but hoping to read Wonder soon, perhaps along with my daughter, who's almost 13 and familiar with the book as well.

I'm sure she'd enjoy it.

Ceylan (CeyGo) (ceylo) I really liked Wonder ... Fable of Bing wasn't really my cup of tea ... I will start David and Goliath next!

Barbara Irish | 1 comments I joined this group late and then promptly forgot about it! :-) I doubt I'll be able to catch up, but I'll give it a try. Finished Wonder yesterday. The message was sweet and positive, but I think the author struggled with speaking in the voices of fifth-graders. The ending, while also sweet, seemed a bit too sugary for my taste. But I think the book could be a good one to read to and/or with a child.
