Did you think it was going to be more about the "hunting" ? I really hope that Lynsay doesnt start to follow a formula where you can tell in the first 50 pages what is going to happen.

Me too I Christian Character. I can't wait until she writes his story.

Yeah those two first Rogue books were not that great for me, but i think it had more to do with how different the way the story was told from the Argeneaus. When i read the 3rd book in the Rogue series i understood the first two a lot better. They are still darker than the Argeneau's though.
if you go to her Website and read her FAQ's this question appears ....Q. Your new books are called the Rogue Hunter series. How are they different from the Argeneau series?
The publishers changed the Series from Argeneau Series to Rogue Series when she wrote Mortimer's story...she states that they went into a panic because he wasn't an Argeneau. But in her eyes it's just another story following the others.

Courtney, i used to think the same....well kind of still do. But then i did a re-read after reading the 3rd book in the Rogue Hunters. I finally understood the first two books. They are different but if you read all 3 first books together, it all makes more since and the experience is better.
I don't really know I like all her books. Some more than others the only thing I meant by what I said earlier is that she looks at them the same one story continuing another.

I agree I think it is silly to chance the series name or catch phrase as you call it even if Mortimer isn't a Argeneau. There were plenty of Argeneau's and she did go right back to the family after his story. His story opened up a lot of prospects as I see it. Even though his story was not one of my favorites.
