Do I have to read the Riley Jenson series before I read the Dark Angels Series?

Claire So I bought the dark angels series completely unknowing about any backstory. Then I saw there was a Riley Jenson series and Riley is in the Dark angels series. So I was wondering is it necessary to read the riley jenson series first.
Tell me your thoughts if I should or shouldnt.

Veronica Zara, I read the Dark Angels series without ever having read the Riley Jensen series and I don't think it hindered me in any way. I'd say that Riley's appearances in the Dark Angels series (along with some of the other characters from the Riley series) are more along the lines of extended cameos. You're told enough about them and what role they have in Risa's life to understand what's what. Dark Angels is really Risa's story and Riley is very peripheral to that so I think you're safe if you just want to dive right into the Dark Angels books. Happy reading!

Thank you for your help Veronica! I seriously apreciate it! :D

Veronica You're welcome!

Kristine I agree it's not necessary to read Riley first, but if you like the Dark Angels you will totally want to read Riley's too. It's nice that it's all complete now. Hope you like them!

Sheena Martinez I read the dark angels series after the riley wanting to hear more about riley (it was that good !) I enjoyed dark angel and highly recommend the riley jenson series but no the stories almost don't even go together in my opinion ? ....
