paced reading horror and thrillers discussion

Not sure when this will start since a few people, myself included, are still waiting to receive their copy's but I figured I would start the thread.

Great I've found the thread!! I'm not going to start until everyone has their copy's but I'm ready when everyone else is.

I finally got this today, anyone else waiting on a copy or was I the last one?

I started reading it last night. How are we going to do this? I don't think we have a spoiler issue with this book, but I assume that progressing at roughly the same speed would be best for discussion.

However you want to do the pacing is fine with me, maybe a couple chapters at a time?

That sounds good to me, I've got a lot of books on at the moment.

How are y'all coming? I'm in chapter 2 and finding it slow going.

I started it at work but the size of the book makes it hard to read on a fork truck. I will get back to it tomorrow before work.

Sorry I forgot about this, I read the acknowledgements, introduction, note on spelling, and prologue. I am picking it back up now.

Justin and Angie, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to bow out of this buddy read. I just can't get interested in it, and I have far too many other books on my TBR list to spend any more time on this one right now. If either of you finish it and find that it improves as it progresses, let me know, and I'll try it again later.

I'm a couple chapters past all the intro stuff and also having trouble with it.
