All Things Medieval discussion

I just loved Brian's book Within The Fetterlock. While it's not an easy read (have to have the thinking cap on), it's very worthwhile and covers a period in history we don't see much of. Plus the added bonus of having a glimpse of John of Gaunt and Katherine doesn't hurt either :)

The Adventures Of Alianore Audley is jolly good fun, although I'd recommend a passing knowledge of this period or you might miss some of the jokes.

Anxiously awaiting book #3.
