I really enjoyed the concept of this dystopian, and I also loved the sequel!

Elif (angelus_mortis) | 41 comments That was a perfect choice. It took me a couple hours to read, I couldn't stop.

Heather (hersecretsmile) | 290 comments I thought the concept to this book was awesome but it didn't flow and work out quite how I would have liked. I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped. :/

Aww that's too bad, Heather!

I remember really loving it, although its been a year since I've read it. I read the sequel last fall and enjoyed it, too!

Heather (ninebookishlives) I've only just started this book but I was worried it would be too close a concept to The Host - just the concept of having two personality in one body. But I'm enjoying this way better and it seems to have a better flow to it. I can't wait to get more into the book - only 40 pages or so into it.

I haven't read The Host yet (GASP!) so I don't know how it compares. I thought this one was an original concept, being in that two souls are BORN INTO a body, and then one disappears when they are young...but in this case, Eva didn't disappear. Really unique and interesting...I can't imagine what it would be like to have to share my body with someone else!

Elif (angelus_mortis) | 41 comments I think there is a major difference between The Host and this book.

In "The Host" there is not two personalities from the birth, they don't know eachother, there is a possession and a war between this two indivuduals. They say "this is my body and get out". Sharing a body is a new concept for both of characters.

But in "What's Left Of Me" there is a sharing from the beginning. They say "this is our body". They always know how things work.

If we look at the literature, we can see the most common example of sharing body; "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".

And if we look at history, even it called newly as a medical situation, there is Multiple Personality Disorder.

So, even they have both sharing body concept, I think we can't compare them.
