I love King, but haven't read this one. Looking forward to it!

As part of the Walden committee, I must say that I completely adore this book and am so happy that it was an honors last year. It is about identity and hope and love--just a fantastic book! Happy reading!

Finished this one today. I appreciated King's description of Astrid's path to self-discovery. An extremely well-written book.

I love how the town itself almost is another character in the book. It develops throughout the book and the story would have definitely been different if the setting was different.
