Thanks, Gisela! Welcome to the group and thanks for your comments. I lived in Graz, Austria in 1994 and loved it. In fact, I'm writing a memoir about my trip around Europe, and it will include a few chapters about your beautiful country.

Gisela Hausmann That is awesome @M.G. I can't believe I get to meet somebody, who lived in Graz, here in the U.S. Graz is a beautiful city. Here I am in dirndl and everything, plus some more travel pics incl Macao, China http://giselahausmann.com/PICTUREFUN....
(However, I haven't been in Austria since 2003 so it might be about time). Added a picture of Waidhofen/Ybbs (Lower Austria), where I grew up... The landscape is similar to Styria.

Wow, that's great, Gisela. You've lived life to the fullest! Travel is so much fun. I moved overseas from the United States in 2004 and have lived all over the world. I've loved (almost) every minute of it. Graz has changed a lot since I was there...I was happily surprised to find out it was the EU's cultural capital in 2012 and added a lot of amazing new architecture. I went back in 1998 and hope to see it again someday. One place in Austria I haven't been but would like to visit is the Tirols and Innsbruck.
