Takedown Twenty

I notice that this month's reading challenge is a romance...will try to read one of those this month, too.


I'm currently reading The Dead in their Vaulted Arches by Alan Bradley, the most recent in the Flavia DeLuce series. This one finds Flavia and her family grieving once more, as her mother, lost on a Tibetan glacier a decade earlier, has finally come home. 6 books in this is still one of the most original and unusal mystery series out there.




I'm also reading the teen novel "Charm and Strange," by first novelist Stephanie Kuehn. I saw an ad or advance review for the book recently--now I can't remember where--and the story line piqued my interest. I'm only a few chapters into it, but it's compulsively readable. More details to follow once I finish the book.

Here are two anthologies that you may like- The Dragon Done It and Down These Strange Streets. While not all the stories are great they may introduce you to a few new authors.
