As an individual of Latvian heritage, I found this one interesting and worth reading.

I read this one a couple of years ago after my daughter got it at a school book fair. It is a wonderful book, and would definitely qualify in the "Book that made you cry" category also. I enjoy World War II history, and I found this book to be a new look at a side of the war that is often forgotten.
