Hey Everyone!

I hope your summer is going well! July is half way over and we are so excited to start discussing How To Build A Girl in the next week or so. I especially look forward to hearing everyone's opinions and comments since this is such a controversial read and opinions are mixed.

For August, we want to get your suggestions on what books, genres, etc., you'd like to read. And we'll also be asking for volunteers to help co-host discussions about the books we choose.

Let us know your thoughts! We'll be posting a poll for the month of August once we get your book suggestions. Xo Catie

sanxiiidra These are a few selections I plan on reading in August. Perhaps one of them will catch the group's attention.

Sold by Patricia McCormick
The Wrath and The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
The Merciless by Danielle Vega
The Wrong Side of Right by Jenn Marie Thorne
Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

I'm excited to see what the group decides on.

freckledbibliophile Sandra, what is sold about! The picture and name sounds interesting.

It's about a young girl who is sold into sex trafficking. Sadly, that is all I really know. The story is told through her perspective. It is said to be a hard read to get through because of the story itself.

freckledbibliophile Thanks, Sandra!.
