It tells me DVD only. But it might be different for you. I don't know what it would be across the pond :)

1. Do you think the actors and actresses they chose were well cast? Did you think the characters you liked were brought to life?
2. How closely do you feel the movie stuck to the book's events?
3. What is your favourite on screen moment?
4. What was your least favourite on screen moment, or something you felt the filmmakers really messed up?
5. Did the aesthetics of the film (the look of the uniforms, school, the way it was shot) match what you pictured in your head?
6. Would you want more VA books made into films, if they were like this version, or do you think they need to up their game before they make more?
I remember it okay. But I think I'm going to rewatch the movie after I reread the book :) So I'll answer these questions soon! :)

Maybe some of us still can? Maybe we can plan like in the middle of the month we watch it or something?

2. Pretty close to the events in the book but I feel like they moved the movie waaaaayyyy too fast. If they slowed it down a bit it would have been a lot more successful in my mind.
3. What is your favourite on screen moment? I liked seeing Mason and Rose practice fighting and seeing how they decided to do the fighting grounds (how they practiced outside with ropes and mats).
4. The dream sequence where Christian becomes Strigoi. That was so pointless and a huge waste of time. And it was really weird. I kept waiting for that part to come in the book (I saw the movie before the book then rewatched it) and was so thankful when it wasn't in there. It was weird and a huge waste of time that literally went no where.
5. I definitely didn't see the school that way and I didn't even think about the uniforms. But the way it was shot definitely made me dislike the movie a lot more than I might. I mean, the way they filmed the scenes where Rose went into Lissa's mind was weird. I wish they filmed it the way they would any other scene.
6. Definitely up their game. They rushed this movie way too much.
I would love for VA to become a TV show like they are doing with City of Bones. I loved Zoey Deutch as Rose though!

I think it would be a great TV show. It would give it more time to work out the details and really work through it. Even though for some reason Rose bothered me more in person than on paper, Zoey Deutch was a great Rose! :D
