Children's Books discussion

Thank you for reading about my children's book which inspired a local 3rd and 4th grade class to raise money for a well in Uganda. There are teaching materials on the website that accompany this story about water, its scarcity and the different ways we get it around the world. It was recognized as a Notable Social Studies Book by The National Children's Book Council for 2015. Great short film about walking to get water in Ethiopia by me, the author. Thank you. Christine
