Sarah Noffke Fan Club discussion

I'd like to offer ARCs (Advanced Reading Copies) of the first book in my new series to members of this group in exchange for an honest review on Goodreads. The book is Defects. The review can be posted at anytime. I'd also love to have it posted on Amazon, but that will have to wait until after publication day on August 15th.

Thank you Michelle! I'm excited to share. This is the series I ran the dream travel location contest for and I still think about your location on the bridge. It's got to be included in a book at some point. I love the idea of fight scene on suspension bridge. Anyway, I've sent over. Hope you enjoy. :)

I just finished reading the Lucidities series and my mind is so blown I'm still reeling from these books I wish i could spread the word to everyone humanly possible about these amazing books. I'd totally love an arc of defects if at all possible. What an amazing gift for this group

Yes, I could totally see you being lost, Katy. No I was referring to the vlogger Katy. Dominic posted one of her videos in the group. I didn't even know Awoken had been featured on her vlog. Then I posted the one about Stunned. Anyway, I kind of go around confusing people. Sorry. :)

Thank you! That's great feedback. Book trailers are such an interesting new thing that authors have to do. Kind of intimidating since that's not really my forte.

LOL Well, I'm prety easily confused too.

No worries! When I was in school there were always at least 3 Katy/Katie/Kati's in every.single.class! It got quite confusing. I really don't know why they didn't just call us by our last names or something - there were seriously that many. It's rather funny now because a lot of my friends on Facebook have the same name I do.

P.S. My aunt misspells my name literally every time she sends me a card! I just figure it's sweet that she thought of me. =)

Katy, I totally relate. There's an abundance of girls named Sarah. Especially in my generation. There was one time in college that there were four of us in a class. The instructor thought it would be cute to put us all in a group together for a project. Not cute.

I'm sorry! I know Sarah's a popular name because of its Biblical significance. It's funny (weird, not ha ha); my sister is, as I've told you before, named Sara and my parents were so certain I was a boy, they already planned to name me Adam & had all boy stuff (like I cared at the time anyway, right?) Then I ended up being a girl and RUINED EVERYTHING!!!

They had to use their back-up name, I suppose. It was my poor luck that apparently everyone else in the 1-2 years prior to and following my birth chose the same name! I guess it worked out because several years after I got sick my mom decided to start telling everyone who would listen how much she hates God, which is more sad than anything else.

[another random sidenote: A few months after I was born, my uncle's wife had a son whom they named Adam. He makes me glad I'm not an "Adam". That would have been...odd. 1 of him is plenty in the world! I also have a cousin named Kate. She's hilarious. And a second-cousin named Cade who I don't know very well. Somehow that doesn't get odd though. I suppose because Kate and Katy sound different and Cade is a boy's name (at least our Cade is a boy).]

Lol. NOT ruined everything, just that initial planning. Back in the day, before sonograms, parents had to be ready for anything. My mother didn't know she was having twins when she had my older sister and brother. Imagine her surprise. She didn't have one name picked out, let alone two.

You have a great sense of humor and a way with words. Maybe you should consider writing. It's a ton of fun. But I get that it isn't for everyone.

I start writing books all the time, it just never goes the way I planned :(

Thank you. I never get tired of hearing that. They are a lot of work and the most fun thing I've ever done. Keep writing. It will accumulate into something. That's all it really takes: to keep at it.

Well, thank you. I usually feel like I attempt to be funny and it doesn't work out for me. I'm glad you appreciate my sense of humor though! I really like your sense of humor too, Sarah. It comes across really well in your books. Of course, the Reverians series is has a bit less in the way of comedy, but it definitely still has it's amusing moments. I'd love to read some of your writing too if you want to share it sometime, Dom.

That would be fantastic! You could even set up a new thread for sharing. Whatever you think. Also, I'm a mod for another group about writing. I'm super uninvolved since my schedule prevents me from doing much with it. Haley runs the writing side and I offer insights on publishing. Anyway, if you're interested then check it out. I think her side of it is fairly active. Lots of talented writers.
