Square In Wonderland Book Club discussion

Dana, Hannah, and I were talking and we were thinking about doing a read-a-thon for the book club.

There's a few ways we could go about doing it.
-We could do a quarterly read-a-thon (Jan, April, July, and Oct)
-We could have sporadic read-a-thons
-Twice a year (Jan and July)


Our question to you is would you want to do read-a-thons here at Square In Wonderland Book Club?

Let us know in the comments and if you have any ideas on how to go about doing it or whatever!

Well, I think it would be good to have sporadic read-a-thons. Meaning that we can do whenever we feel like it. For example, we can have one on late august-early september when classes are starting and be something like "Back-to-School" read-a-thon (and we can add in reading about people on schools or boarding schools or college, you know). Or other example would be having a read-a-thon on Halloween (and reading some horror and mystery books) and so on, like Valentine's Day, Christmas, so on so on. But really, I'm down with anything. ;)

I like that idea!

I loved the Halloween read-a-thon we did last year, Dana and Rachel. We could do that again! Maybe quite so many challenges this year though! I'm just too busy to do all that...but reading sprints and all the fun would be awesome!

Count me in on whatever is decided for read-a-thons! Love that idea Jenny! I spent all of October last year reading as many creepy/paranormal books as I could and loved it!

I would agree with Sam a sporadic read-a-thon sounds like the way to go, but I’ve always been a fan of surprises.

We are thinking of doing a readathon in October, but only for a weekend. We might have some challenges and giveaways!
