I want to read this book next. The author is beautiful.
Her story is powerful. . . I think she is an expert on loss and recovery. I can't wait to read it.

She's going to be on WNYC on February 28.

As the author herself says,the magnitude of her loss is unimaginable.What haunts me is her decision to not stop by her parents' rooms on her way out- not to say that anything would have turned out differently, but she and we will never know now.The finality of some split second decisions can be gut wrenching.

She is incredible. And she just won the PEN award!

It was a truly emotional book, she wrote it from her heart.
