Why do you love Delena over any other ship?
I just think they're hot together, personally. Elena balances out Damon's cocky, sardonic side; and she makes him a better person. What do you think? :)

*My opinions are based on events from the TV show, I have not read the books. Sorry if my interpretations don't make sense in the context of the books*

I agree, they compliment each other perfectly :-) Damon challenges Elena to explore her dark side more freely; he allows her to fully be herself. Elena challenges Damon to accept love and to believe that he is worthy of love. They disagree and argue but ultimately it's because they care so deeply for one another that they don't want to compromise.
