2017 Reading Challenge discussion

In 1943 in Nazi occupied France a British spy plane crash lands with Mattie as pilot. Julie (code name Verity) has parachuted out to avoid the crash and is later captured by the Nazis and tortured for information.

Julie and Mattie were friends and at one part of the tell their biggest fears. Later in France they once again reflect on their greatest fears. Their fears are dramatically different especially Julie's who has been tortured.

This book made me think about how my own fears have changed over the years.
