This is where you can post your general questions. But you also have the option of sending me a message, and I will make sure to get back to you ASAP.

Bat-Cat Just a quick question. How long will the Jane Eyre read last? I am rather new to this group thing and maybe it says somewhere but I was not able to find where. :)

How does one sign up for the 2016 Challenge?

We will start reading it in the beginning of January, and it will probably take us one to two months, based on the length of the novel, so the end of January to the end of February? I usually post the deadline after we start reading it, because it's hard to tell when it comes to classics. But thanks for asking.

When you click the title of the challenge, I believe it will bring you to the main page of the challenge, at the bottom you can then put your goal which will be "6" and then the second blank asks you to create a special shelf on your bookshelf where you can shelf the books that satisfies the criteria of the challenge so it can count towards your goal.
It's important that you set the date you have read the book.
Please let me know if these instructions are still unclear.

I cannot seem to locate any blanks at the bottom of the challenge page. It just says that you are the only participant.

it's a book club challenge, but sure, you can do that too!!

Patricia | 2 comments I put down number of books I'm reading and when I go to add my shelf for this challenge its not letting me. even when I go to change number of books in other challenges

Are you creating the shelf within the challenge itself? when you join the challenge there are two blank spaces, the first one for the number of books and the second for your chosen shelf name. try again, and maybe use a different shelf name, that you dont have yet...

I just checked the Challenge Page and it shows that you are now participating. Message me if you're still having problems adding books read.

Hi Loretta and Tina.. this is an "ACTIVE" group. however, most members do not participate in discussions.. I used to post some discussion questions just to start, but I think people are more interested in just checking off the classics from their reading list... and just knowing that there's a deadline and such and that's fine too. people do participate in polls though. if you'd like to discuss, feel free to post on the threads, and usually if no one else, I do respond as the moderator. hope that answers your question!
