Gea (gea89) | 406 comments Would these work:

Firefighter for fireman
Police officer or sheriff for policeman
Tub for bathtub
Pizza for baked goods
Penny for currency
Curls in hair mentioned for curly hair (red curls were visible beneath his hat)

message 4: by Jennifer H (new)

Jennifer H They all work! (except with Tub make sure it is obvious it is for bathing, a 'tub of lard' wouldn't work)

message 5: by Gea (new)

Gea (gea89) | 406 comments Okay great :)

message 6: by Jennifer H (new)

Jennifer H For those of you already searching your books for words ATTIC has been changed to DOCTOR/NURSE

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 1469 comments Would you please clarify what you want for these words?
Midnight
Treasure
Flash
Pack

message 8: by Jennifer H (new)

Jennifer H I just want the exact word (plurals will work)

message 9: by Christina T (new)

Christina T (crysteena73) So basically if it's listed in the book, no matter the meaning, it should work. Like Angie's examples all of the following should work....

The cat was the color of midnight.

She lost her shoe at midnight.

Don't steal me buried treasure.

His treasure trail was golden blonde.

Flash! Went the camera.

When he came out of his house in his robe, I didn't know if Old Man Roberts was going to yell at me for being on his lawn or flash me.

Her werewolf pack became her family.

She went home to pack for her vacation.

message 10: by Jennifer H (new)

Jennifer H All those are great examples!

message 11: by Gea (new)

Gea (gea89) | 406 comments That makes it so much easier to find words :)

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 1469 comments Thank you!

message 13: by Mai (new)

Mai Two questions:

1. Are plurals in general okay?
2. How about compound words like cheese-sandwich for cheese?

I'm all excited to start :D

Jackie | 566 comments Can the weekly word and the bonus word come from the same book?

message 17: by Gea (new)

Gea (gea89) | 406 comments Jackie wrote: "Can the weekly word and the bonus word come from the same book?"

All the items you claim in a week have to come from the same book. You read one book weekly for the challenge and claim one item from each category from that book

message 18: by Jackie (new)

Jackie | 566 comments Okay, thanks, Gea. That makes sense.

message 19: by Jennifer H (new)

Jennifer H Thanks Gea for explaining that :)

❀~Amy~❀ (ajpayne75) | 145 comments A question about when our team picks words from the other categories. If we agree as a team to use Doctor/Nurse from A, midnight from B, and Flash from C, do we all have to use Doctor or can 2 of us use Doctor and 2 of us use Nurse? (hopefully that made sense. I've been awake too many hours now)

Katherine (katdylan) Would:

work for wine glass?

message 46: by Katherine (new)

Katherine (katdylan) Would this work for graceful?

But then, Scott had been his one relationship out of the closet too, and that had taken a cocaine-fueled implosion to kill dead, no grace necessary, thank you very much.

message 47: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) Jennifer do you see a valley on this cover? I think so at the bottom of the mountains?
