Yes, I realize I have failed you, my beautiful TNBBCer's. I totally forgot to post nominations at the beginning of the month for August and September. Booooo! Shame on me!

Since it's way too late to get a book nominated for August, let's have August be a read-whatever-the-heck-you-want-month, and enjoy the unexpected breather.

If you nominate the book, and the book is chosen as a group read, you agree to lead the discussion! Don't worry, it's not hard, and we'll love you all the more for it!

September. Don't think this is a banned book; it does point to inhumane social systems that the protagonist escaped from, and outlived gloriously. A story so compelling that it became a very popular movie. A favorite; read it when in school about three decades ago!

Both sound like great reads. I'm sure that I have read Fahrenheit 451 but its been years! And the author of The Night Strangers is totally new to me! Will have to get a move on as another book group (at work) is reading Moo and I haven't started that one either!

My copy of Fahrenheit 451 arrives today! I'm excited to begin discussing it next week!
