Welcome to the new version of an old group. Whether you're brand new to us or you've been here before (you were already a member of the previous group) then please introduce (or re-introduce) yourself.

I'll start: I am an author of four novels and many short stories. I belong to a number of groups here on Goodreads and just stumbled upon this one recently. I noticed that it had lay dormant since last summer (2013) and I thought I might like to try a hand at moderating a group that would help promote other authors like myself, bring awareness to hidden gems and maybe generate more interest in under-represented creations. That's about it...

Let's see where this goes together.

Kenneth Geary (KagedBooks) (kagedbooks) | 2 comments It would be great to see this group active again. I am currently working on my first full length novel, and my first short story is set for publication later this year.

Karen A. Wyle (kawyle) | 1 comments OK -- here I am again! :-) I'd love to see this group revive.

I've published four novels (all in ebook form, all but the latest as paperbacks, with the fourth paperback coming out on March 20th). Three (Twin-Bred, Reach: A Twin-Bred Novel, and Division) are science fiction of one kind or another. The fourth, Wander Home, is harder to define: a family drama with mystery and romance elements, set in a re-imagined afterlife. I'm currently editing my latest Nano (National Novel Writing Month) draft, also SF.

Thank you once again for resurrecting this group! I am launching my debut novel in May with a cover reveal next week. How wonderful to have a place to promote it (without guilt :))))

That's it? No problem... ;)

Jenelle Yay! I have missed this group. Thanks for bringing it back to life!

My name is Jenelle Schmidt and I'm a mom of two adorable little girls, and writer of young adult fantasy and sci-fi. I have one book out, and the second is nearly ready, if we can get the cover to print correctly! :) The rest of the series is complete, just awaiting editing and cover art.

Hmmm... what else...?

I love reading (mostly fantasy and sci-fi, but I branch out every now and then).

I love movies, and the Cubs... and I've had other hobbies (like quilting and playing ultimate frisbee) in the past, but with a 5 year old, 2 year old, and third baby on the way... I don't really have time for any of them! :)

Welcome back, Jenelle. I hope more prior members return. Looking forward to your new release.

Chris Eastvedt (chris_eastvedt) | 2 comments Hi All:

So far I've written a literary novel and an illustrated children's book, and am currently doing research for a thriller. I have a wide range of interests, which is why I'm writing all over the place genre-wise, but it's hardly the best way to gain a following. I suspect I'm going to be obscure for quite some time, so I should make myself comfortable here.

Jeff Dawson Good morning. Been a way much too long. Just published two works(e-books) and am currently have three WIPS, one with an editor and a fourth formulating. What do I write. A host of genre's. Here's a short synopsis:

Alternative History Vampires taking on the Third Reich, No, this isn't twilight! I use the actual history of WWII and throw in two warring vampire clans. When they realize how evil the SS are, they have a decision, continue to fight amongst themselves or unite and take on for more evil than they. Occupation Second book WIP

Science Fiction: If you enjoy modern day time travel history, and a touch of political intrigue, the Gateway series is a keeper. Four Stanford grads are ready to enjoy a vacation after obtaining double masters. First stop, Las Vegas. They win $100,000 playing 21. The mob takes notes and wants their money back. They escape to the town of Pioche, NV. where they discover a government project. Join Muki, Judith, Larry and Abdul as they travel back in time to witness the 69 moon landing, JFK's assassination, what happened Judas after the betrayal and the horrors of the Third Reich. Gateway: Pioche Third book in the works.

Perhaps you desire something a little darker, so horror or paranormal. If so, give these a try: Terror at The SterlingFinal Delivery

How about memoirs or poetry? I have that covered to. I reunited with my high school sweetheart in Jan of 2009. Seven months later, her breast cancer returned with a vengeance. I chronicle our love from the time we met to the last time I kissed her. Her daughters thought it would be a fitting tribute Love's True Second Chance Poetry you say. The currently release work covers a variety of style and topics form Love, Loss and perspectives from soldiers: Life's Spectrum Love, Loss, Military

I also have two baseball coaching manuals out.

That about does it. To all, have a great day!
