I look forward to reading this book but I might have to miss book club (or be late) since it looks like I am going to be invited to a christening in central MA that morning.

Any thoughts on Land yet? I'm not sure I'm going to get through it. I'm having a hard time with the authors writing style and I'm finding the whole bible belt mentality really annoying. I'm now on my second book between chapters just wanting a break. There are a ton of great reviews. Maybe I need to give it some more time?

I haven't started it yet but I think Melissa and Denise have finished it. ( overachievers ! )

I just started this last night. I'm only about 15 pages in so far but I'm curious to see where this story goes.

At first I didn't think it would be my kind of book, but I'm about a third of the way through it and really enjoying it now.

I finished yesterday. I part listened and part read and ended up really liking it. I found the pastor so creepy and disturbing but couldn't put it down. Looking forward to discussing this one.
