Justin G | 20 comments This book is great for anyone that likes a good sci-fi series. There are examples of time travels and history in this book. Margaret Peterson Haddix does a great job of creating great stories that will keep the reader hooked for a long time and will make them never lose interest. She uses a very unique, creative, and partially hidden theme of "You may think you know your place... But you're wrong." Using the descriptive words that Haddix utilizes I could easily imagine how the main characters(Jonah and Chip) are solving their problems. The setting of this book is set in a pretty modern time as the book starts off with the main characters playing a game of basketball. I could relate to the characters because they are very "down-to-earth". This means they are much like us and are very realistic. They have the same feelings as we do and they would have any same reactions that we would have if we had the opportunity to go on some of the adventures they go on. Honestly, I like the characters as they have the heart, thoughts, and soul of someone that would believe is a good person.

Imagine getting a letter in your mail saying "You are one of the missing." (From Book).

You think I didn't read the book? You think this is a joke? You think I am not a man of my word?

Elma S. | 12 comments This book seems very interesting and different from the books I usually read. I think I'll definitely check this out. It is almost the opposite of Fahrenheit 451 in that it goes back in time instead of looking ahead into the future. How do they go back in time? Is there a movie for this book?

There is no movie. If they made a movie for this book I would've never read it. But Leor here (man doesn't even know how to spell his own name right) thinks I didn't read the book. I know my story. The main characters Jonah, Chip, and Katherine get this machine called an Elucidator when they are told that they have to go back in the correct year that Jonah, Chip, and other kids are from.An elucidator changes what time they're in. Do you not think I read this book too? Are you on the same side as Leor? The dude can't even spell his own name right. I was awake all night in my underwear reading this book.
