Coven: Rising from the Ashes discussion

Orlaith was on a period of self study after some pretty awesome classes, the only downfall was that she had practical at the end of the day. But to escape the whispers and the stares along with the rude gestures and I'll mannered words she went to the library, diving straight into her favourite spot by the window to curl up with a good book, any book. She placed her bag down and took the window seat, digging out some books she needed to catch up on whilst admiring the lovely summer view. Leaning her head against the window she started reading, feeling peaceful and relaxed for the first time that day. She loved self study times but unfortunately she didn't get many of them.

Lukas made it from his ordeal last ngith of drunken hot and wild sex with Myles and decided ebfore work he would go to the school and hit the library for a bit, being a master of languages and being able to udnerstand even the language of computers and cars he foudn comfort around books. Walking in he managhed to get in without any eyes on him which was normall because alot fo girls hit on him more than anytihng and he was not even clsoe to interested. Making his way to the upper deck of books where hsitory on witches could be found worldwide he walked aorund grbabing abooka dn moving to hsi favorite spot by the window, only to find it already occupied. But not by jsut anyone...it was the girl who got to see him in shock after she returned formt he shower.
Lukas frowns knwoing now this was Myles sister..."Hey, Orlaith right?" He asks looking her over for a moment, one would think he was checking ehr out, even she thoguht so probably, but he was trying to udnerstand ehr body language, which showed slight annoyance with others as well as a hint of freedom form the rpeassure of others. He had to eb sure not to cross lines int hsi conversation if there was to be one. She seemed more relaxed int he ages than int he real world he got that from her the first time they met under strange circumstances. "You enjoy reading?" He asks kindly..."You know I didn't realize it beofre I went to work the toher day after meetign you and I discovered my possible boyfr...I mean my boss...is your brother." He almost let it slip. he had a crush on Myles and hoped for something to go further than jsut drunken sex with him. As good as it felt Myles was hsi type and eh hoped it was vise versa and not jsut a lay.

Orlaith begrudgingly tore her eyes away from her delicious book and stared up at someone who seemed familiar but she couldn't quite peg him. She placed her bookmark in her book and snapped it shut. She looked him over with confusion and then her eyes lit up with realisation before her cheeks went a little red. "Lukas.....right?" She asked, realising he was her bunking buddy. She looked down at her book, giving it a little squeeze as she offered him a smile. "Yes I like to read, you?" She asked gesturing to the book he had picked up. "Ah you met Myles...." She pursed her lips. "I am hoping you didn't say anything about us sharing a room, he's not the type to take that lightly." Giving him a sheepish smile, remembering last night when Myles went haywire. She didn't like it when he lost it.

Lukas laughs lightly, "Yeah i like reading...and well..Myles was pretty okay with it actually. Even mroe so once he went back to my place last ngiht. "He says witha slight smirk taking not e of her blush. She was clearly thinking of something that could embarrass her or she liked Lukas...but it seemed deeper than that. Her blush held emotions of not jsut embarrassment but also hopefulness as if she was praying ehr brother didn't threaten his life, but at first Myles was very dangerous looking when he foudn out, then the whole truth came out. Lukas was glad to have runinto and seieng no guys aorund ehr he felt he could give Myles a good report when he went to work today. "I cooked him a dinner last ngiht, so sorry if you were up waiitng on him, I know how it cna be getting lonely waiting for smeone." He adds knowing the feleing all to well.

Orlaith blinked in surprise. This was the first she was hearing of him going over to anyone's place, not that he wasn't allowed but it explained a lot. He didn't even have the gall to text to let her know he was fine, not scrounging off of someone else for food. She looked down at her book and nodded, picking at the threads of the book mark in thought. "Yeah, no it's fine, honest. He's my big brother it's not like I'm his mother or anything, he can do what he likes." She smiled up at him. "Well you might want to check out your book, I don't think Myles is the type of boss to be lenient on people who are late. I should know." She told him with a smile. "What book are you getting anyway?" She asked, hoping to divert the subject.

Lukas nods thankful she didn't try and push the matter of him slipping and saying that Myles was a possible boyfriend. He was lucky, very much so. Looking down in his book he looks at it for a moemnt, "Oh this is called 'The Supernatural of Humans and The Reality of Witches.' It is about the many classifications humans have given witches with special pwoers, like leperchauns, Veela, and werewolves an vmapires and such." He syas palinly..."I'm what one would clal a werewolf." He admits. "Oh, and don't worry I ahve another hour ebfore Iahve to be clocked in." He says normally keeping tabs on time, except the other day.

Orlaith nodded liking the sound of the book. She realised that she had read that book when she was a lot younger than she is now. Maybe she'd check it out after he had read it. She picked at her book, her thoughts rolling around when he mentioned him being a wolf type. That peeked her curiosity. "A werewolf?" She asked, vaguely remembering what the book said about types. Her thoughts swirled back to Stefan and his traits and wondered if Lukas really did or could turn into a wolf a physical wolf. She looked at the clock and nodded. "So you have wolf like magical traits?"

Lukas laughs lightly rubbing the spine of the book, "In a manner of speaking. Normally I have to strip completely in order to gain any aspect fo a wolf and in such reaosning I try to stay as human as possible. But I don't have some magical qualities. I am what one would consider a full out werewolf...there are special hutners out there for my kind." He assures her. "There is stuff in here about Vampires and the varieties of them like a Succubus or Incubus or even a Siren or a demonic soulsucker." He adds. He mvoes to a small shelf that was used for book to be sen tot eh shelves as he sits down on the shelf.

Orlaith praised a brow in full curiosity. She hadn't encountered someone like him before, but then again she had never encountered someone like Stefan before and even then she wasn't sure about it all. She blushed sweetly at the memory of when she had walked in on Lukas the night before, realising she was staring she looked away. "Ah, you must go through a lot of clothes then." She gave a nervous chuckle, looking to the book with more interest. Maybe she could research some ways in which to help Stefan conquer his need to kill to feed. After all no one needed to kill. "Can I borrow that book off of you once you are done with it?" She asked with a smile. "I might need it for research later." She told him. "So what are you taking the book out for if you already know what it's all about considering you happen to be in the book."

Lukas smirks charmingly, "Well, I have made it a personal passion to study as much as possible about magic and genetics. If I could make a discovery on the placement of ones pwoers and genetics I could make links that thwe world will find even more extraordinary." He describes. "I am looking to make a discovery on the link of powers and bloodlines. Given the current Supreme's mother was a Supreme, my father had the same abilities as myself and Well...I hope to come up with plenty of evidence to prove to the council that magic is fully connectd to genetics. They say it skips generations sometimes, but I think it is deeper than that and it can combine the studies of mentaland physical development as well as genetics."

Orlaith nodded and smiled, finding his idea of research to be interesting. Although if that was true she wondered what kind of powers her parents had, or even just what sort of parents they were like. "Well I wish you luck on your research, it sounds like you have your work cut out for you." She leaned her head back against the wall. "You never know it could be that your magic responds to they type of person you are and may possibly decide whether you are worthy of wielding such power. But it is an interesting thought." She smiled. "Can't wait to read your thesis on the matter."

Lukas smiles, "Thanks...I hope I can get the Supreme's approval to continue my research, but I'm sure mother would be fine with it." He says charmingly before a tall figure seems to fill the air around the entire library with a sweet scent.
Stefan was at the bottom simply walking around and as he did so passersby glance at him as if the aura he put off was too much for their hormones to handle.

Orlaith smiled and gave him a little flick with her hand. "I'm sure she would be delighted to have you continue your work. If anything it would prove a lot of unanswered questions." She told him, more like it might open up more questions for her and Myles, not that she was pleased with Myles right now. She smelt the sweet scent of chocolate and was reminded of last night, her cheeks turning a pale pink. She really needed to reign in her control, it was getting to be ridiculous. "S-So how long until you think you might make a break through?" She asked, hoping to stick to the subject of logic.

Lukas smiles lightly, "I was thinking about six months before any real breakthroughs...." He trailed off looking downa dn catching the attractive aura that to him smelled of freshly mowed grass, motor oil and an old book. turnign to stefan he smiles lookng down at him, "Who is that?" He asks starign him down checking the tall hottie out.

Orlaith nodded with a sweet smile, glad he was still into their conversation, unfortunately she could tell the moment he got roped into Stefan's alluring scent. She couldn't exactly make criticisms considering she was roped in as well, but at least she knew about it. "That would be Stefan, he's a student here. He's also a friend of mine." She added for a strangely unknown reason, giving a hopefully convincing smile. She could tell there was no getting out of it especially with the way Lukas was staring at him, it was only a matter of time before he asked. Sitting up she called down to Stefan as quietly as she could without disturbing hue he peace of other potential escapees. She smiled and gestured for him to come up. "Afternoon Stefan. This is Lukas." She introduced.

Stefan came up with a smile, "Well, hello, Lukas." He says smiling charmingly lenaign down and kissing his hand gently. Lukas smirks lightly, "So you are friends with Orlaith? How do you two know each other?" He asks casually, but deep down he was only trying to help Myles out. He had asked himt o keep an eye on hsi siter and update him on anyone that she spoke to. Well, Stefan was certainly anyone, but he had the aura of someone. Lukas was enticed by hsi touch and couldn't help but feel the impulsive desire to simply strip right there and go at it with the guy. What was wrong with him...normally no one can tell he is a fag, but now it was abotu to become very noticeable.

Orlaith watched as Stefan practically wrapped Lukas up in romantic delusions with other darker meanings underlining their thoughts it would seem. She cleared her throat and gave Lukas a little pinch in the arm to wake him up out of the fog. "We know each other from the market. I was buying veggies and we met there." She told him, knowing Stefan was a little busy occupying Lukas's thoughts. She gave Stefan a small smile. "How are you doing? You feeling ok?" She asked, having been worried about potential wounds from yesterday. "Oh my manners. Lukas this is Stefan."

Stefan smiles kindly..."A pleasure to meet you, stefan." He says charmingly.
Lukas jumps lightly in painat the pinch. He takes a step back realizing the gusy pwoer. Stefan leans downa nd takes Orlaith's hand, "I'm fine, beautiful." He says kissing ehr hand gently with his soft lips. "Your brother really tried doing a number on me." He explains...Then looking at Lukas, "Last night...Me and Myles had a misunderstnading when he caught me in the same ebd with Orlaith, here."
Lukas couldn't help but clear his throat. "I should get going...In need to check this book out." He says turning from the two and moving back down to the front desk to check out. He gives them one last wave and a ndo before wlaking off.

Stefan turns back to Orlaith, "He seemed pleasant. "He says kindly, "How do you know him?" He asks curiously...almsot protectively.

Orlaith tried controlling the sweet sensation of tingles that raced up her arm at his delicate kiss, averting her eyes so she didn't blush, not that she thought it would help. But the moment he dropped the ball of last night her whole face went red with embarrassment, hoping Lukas didn't jump to conclusions, although it didn't seem they were the only ones jumping to conclusions lately. She wanted to correct Lukas's thoughts but he was already down the stairs. Her blushing intensified as she looked up at Stefan, leaning back into her perfect reading spot. "Um well long story short we ended up sharing a spare room, due to a mix up with the dorms. Myles had to stay with a boy named Julian and so to keep me close he set me to bunk in the schools spare room for a night, but unbeknownst to us the room had been double booked. So we ended up sharing. He slept in the couch and I slept in the bed." She clarified.

Stefan smiles, "Well, it seems Myles is catching more than one guy in your company." He smile shcarmingly. "but, no worries ehre...Lukas is not very interested in you...in fact your entire kind..." He says looking down rubbign the back fo hsi neck. He foudn ti rather interesting such a masculine guy could be so....well...homosexual. He sets beside her on the flor, "what are oyu reading?" He asks nodding to the book.

Orlaith blinked in surprise as to the fact he was saying Lukas was gay. She would have never pinned him as a homosexual, although she would have never pinned her brother as one either until he told her. "Well I suppose that is a relief..." She said, mind wondering to the fact her brother and Lukas were working together. He hadn't had he? That couldn't possibly be the reason he was late? She scrunched her nose at the thought and was side tracked by Stefan's question. "Oh um it's called A Witches Memoirs. It's an auto biography of a certain witches life events." She told him. "So what brings you to the library?"

Stefan couldn't help but smile..."Which witch?" He asks looking at the book strangely, but then shaking into her other question. He couldn't help but give a rather cute and confident smirk, "Intuition." He replies. He didn't really know why he was here it was as if he was drawn here only to be drawn back to Orlaith.

Orlaith looked down at the book, inspecting it for a moment before replying. "Beatrice Leveaux." She flicked through the book, not really interested in reading the pages, just a sound she liked to listen to, plus the feel of the pages. She gave him a confused and curious look before her cheeks turned a pretty pink. Her skin prickled and her eyes darted down stairs and spotted Myles entering the Library, obviously looking for her. Another check up. Her grip tightened on her book. "Stefan ... A little warning, my brothers here." She murmured, and as if on cue Myles looked up to see Orlaith with Stefan, his eyes ablaze. She could tell he was reigning in his power with difficulty as he made his way up the stairs. "Orlaith you are coming with me right now." He told her.

((Hey jsut for a thought, could Lukas have been the one who called Myles to say that he jsut saw Orlaith with some guy who had a pwoer over seduction and was using it on Orlaith?))

Stefan holds and hand up for Orlaith not to move. He eans agisnt the rails of the upper deck and looks down at Myles, "Is she not allowed to speak with someone?" He asks challenging Myles. "She isn't causing anyone harm and niether am I...I think she cna make her own choice as to whether or not she wants to go with you." He says coldly. He glares as hsi eyes swirl violently red it was no seductive look althoguh it did look hot when he was dangerous.

Orlaith was surprised to see Stefan haunting her movements. Although it probably wasn't the best idea to challenge her brother, especially when he was ticked. Myles ignored the idiot with the inflated ego and teleported behind him, grabbing Orlaith's hand. "You stay away from my sister and keep your ruby eyes to yourself." He growled deeply, tugged her along. She tugged back, trying to keep a hold of her book. "Myles you let go of me this instant. You have no right to treat me this way. What has gotten into you. I keep telling you he is a perfectly good friend of mine. You want me to have friends don't you?" She hissed. Myles turned on her. "Friends don't entrance you into a stupor. He is more likely to kill you than to make a cake with you." He muttered. Orlaith was getting irritated with his horrible attitude. She pointed to Lukas. "Professional boundaries much." Her mark began to itch. Myles was gritting his teeth. "Stay out of it. Now come along." He tugged her further, trying to get her down the stairs. "Myles so help me....leave me alone." She snapped. "I am not as weak as you think." Myles shook his head. "Yes you are. You aren't safe around him."

Stefan glared leaping form hsi spot to behind Myles, "She doesn't want to go with you." He says dark in a very deep and almsot demonic voice. "I would leave her be if I were you." He warns him. Stefan palces a hand on Myles shoulder. "Just let her have a life." He says a bit mroe calmly almsot like a child askign a question. His aura was soothing and calm, nothing too strong, but relaxing. "Let ehr make her own choices and mistakes, she doesn't need oyu stlakign abotu correcting her." He explains. "And for as long as I'm here you won't hurt her or stop her form doing what she wants." He warns Myles but thsi was the guys last chance, if he retaliated even verbally things would turn more bloody.
Lukas frowns seeing the whole thing go down. He almsot felt bad for sending that text message because of the drama it was starting, but he was not going to not tell Myles. Lukas was big time crushing on him and either wya he would have lsitened.

Myles was taken back by the sudden leap, but his whole body felt doused in a sort of calm energy and the more the guy spoke the more he realised what the kid was doing. He wasn't one to fight unless it was to protect his sister and this guy was pissing him off the most. His eyes flashed in anger and his mind was cleared of fog. The bastard was trying to entrance him into agreeing. The room shook briefly, knocking one or two books off their shelves. "I would suggest you leave us alone." His telekinesis slithered around Stefan and subdued him, forcing his arms by his side. "I will not have a soul sucker around my sister." He growled, yes he knew it hadn't taken long. Orlaith was just staring at them both a little dumb founded. They were fighting and it was because of her and she couldn't stand it. "Stop it." She whispered, gripping the rails of the stairs a little hard. Myles tugged Orlaith along but she refused to move.

Stefan felt himself become constricted agian but as his eyes burned wildly his breath suddenly became hotter thant he air aorund him as you could easily see his breath huffing out of his nostrils like a bull. His eyes burn to life as he opens his mouth in a loud scream shooting flames out at Myles in hsi rage. He knew nothing else to do he had to defend hismelf.
He was not abotu to be otu done becuase some bossy guy wanted to control Orlaiths life.
Lukas turns looking up to see the violence happening as the room shook to life. Upon seeing the flames he had had enough ripping his shirt off he leaps out at the stairs as hsi clothes shred and hsi skin burns up to reveal a large wolf. Lukas growls low and crouches for a pounce on this Stefan guy. He barks out and instantaneously Myles pwoers and Stefans were both blocked completely. The wolf was emitting his pwoer negation blocking them form using their pwoers.
Once Stefan was free of Myles grip he couldn't help but to sucker punch him in the face hard.

Myles watched as the kid started to take on the features of a demon, it was a little sickening with a hint of fear in there. A warlock was one thing but this guy was nuts. The moment he saw fire he raised his hand and controlled the fire to go around him and Orlaith until he felt his power being snuffed out. He glanced down at the wolf on the bottom of the stairs and glared only to get punched. He licked the corner of his lip and tasted blood. He let go of Orlaith and went to go for him when Orlaith stepped in. "Stop it!" She screamed, tears welling in her eyes out of frustration and anger. Her petite frame trembled slightly, as both her arms were spread out to stop them from going any further. Her heart beat was all over the place, her eyes looking slightly alight from within. "You!" She pointed at Myles, anger rising. "You are leaving. I don't want anything to do with you." She pointed at Stefan. "And you, you promised me you wouldn't use any of your power around me." She huffed. "You can both go dig your own graves on you own time for all I care, but you will not make me the catalyst for all your hot headed idiocy." She snapped, her eyes brightening. The wood beneath her feet began to rot. Myles watched as Orlaith's eyes rolled to the back of her head and fell backward. Myles caught her in the nick of time and heaved her up against him. "Orlaith, come on, talk to me, breath." He grabbed her hand and turned it over. The mark had reversed on itself. The scale of life and death had been tipped. He should have realised it sooner. If he didn't get her home shed reck the library and those in it. He stood up, glaring at Stefan. "Stay away from her. You don't and I won't be held responsible for what happens." He told him, hissing as her power poured over his arms, causing them to go red and angry. Her sudden screaming and thrashing didn't help either. The wood began to become brittle with rot. "Get off the stairs!" He snapped before teleporting home.

Lukas jerks at Stefan's shirt and pulls him down the stairs as a large rotted hole forms jsut beofre Myles vanishes. Stefan stands glaring at the wolf. "I was fine and I don't need you helping or stopping me or others form kickign one antoehrs arse." He says coldly. "Stay out of my way dog breath. "He says plaina dn cold. He pushes past the wolf half enraged. He decided it best to simply go to his room.

Lukas had to race out to hsi jeep and grab a pair of spare clothes so he could shift human again. He races otu of the schoola nd leaps intot he window fo his jeep pulling on a pair of jeans and a clotch black A-shirt. He starts the vehicle and drives off to the shop.
