Ok so Seth, Caleb's brother was talked about in Dirty Red. But I just don't get him. I know he and Leah had something before but to go after your brother's wife. It does seem like they would make a better couple than Caleb and Leah. But I just don't understand why he seems to not have a relationship with his brother or like them for that matter. Also is he the one Leah marries and has a son with? How can he be with Leah after everything she did to brother during and after the marriage. I just don't like him. Thoughts?

Caleb was their mom's favorite and as you can see from the story she was a bit manipulative, the step-father was always there to run interference. Their dad was not a good role model.
I think Seth was on to her and removed himself from their lives. Caleb always wanted her approval.
In my mind Seth and Leah does up up together and they have a wonderful life.
I think I am the only person who thinks what Caleb did to Leah was worse than anything Leah did. He never should have faked the amnesia IF he did not want to be with her HE should have just broken up with her. She was ready to let him go and HE came back to her and HE made many promises none of which he kept. The minute he married Leah HE should have sold that house. Caleb never gave his marriage to Leah a chance.

Can't answer your first question. For the second question, it is not important if they are married or not. Relationships do not need to be neat in real life either.
